{knock on wood} It's done a great job of holding my phone, even when "dog walk" turns into "dog run." No noticeable scuffs to the phone from the holster (but I'm so rough I'd hardly notice from my other dings).

I've had other holsters (Seido and BoxWave) holsters for other phones (Palm Treo and Pre) and have snapped off several clips, mostly with the phone out of the holster. So far, so good, with this one as the clip is quite robust and is a pivot/spring type, not just flexing molded plastic.

One caution: take care that your clothing isn't caught between the phone and the holster, as my only "close calls" have been after putting the phone in the holster while sitting and the cloth pulling out as I stand.

That aside, this is a well-designed and well-built holster. I occasionally get a bit paranoid about my phone popping out, but this holster has not failed even after five months of active daily use.

Wasn't sure about the "spring loaded" from the clip description but it works great. Phone is secure and easily attached and detached from it.

These items are much more expensive thru the manufacturer or the carrier. I found it at a decent price on Amazon and it works well.
