This overflow will NOT fit most tubs. So, unless you already have a Kohler tub with a matching overflow opening, you will be returning this item as soon as you have opened the box.

I give it only 1 star because Kohler should have this particularity clearly stated in their Product info, specs, assembly instructions and anywhere else where they can think about.
Instead, they tell you that the color and finish will match the look of faucets with the same color and finish.
But they don't tell you that the shape of this overflow kit ONLY matches certain tubs.

Part was excellent, however, it will only work with tubs with the oval cutout. I was under the impression the oval would work for the round, and that it was just a "different" look. Amazon as normal, was great at taking the return.

Firstly this drain only works with the matching Kohler Archer tub. I really like the different style of this drain. I bought the tub for this drain style as it allows more depth in the tub when filled. I am very happy with the tub and this matching drain. I originally ordered the Brushed Chrome but sent it back in favor of the Satin Nickel.
