This is a nice addition to my son's room. My son had to be placed in a bed (at 15 months) because we were expecting my second child and was planning on using the crib for the baby. We decided to use a toddler bed one month before the baby came so that he did not feel that we were giving the baby his crib. He did not like the bed at first, but after about 2 days, he liked it. The bed can take the weight of my husband (175lbs) or I with our son (27 lbs). Easy to assemble and nice wood finish.

We purchased this bed 2 months ago for our 18-month-old. He likes it! The natural color matches the rest of the furniture in his room, the bed is sturdy and of a very good quality.

We got this bed to transition our 2 year old out of his crib. It's easy to put together, well made, nice finish. It fit his crib mattress perfectly. It's only about 12" off of the floor, so even if he wriggled around so much that he fell out (past the side bars, not likely), he wouldn't fall very far (and it's never happened). It's great that it's so low, because he can get into bed by himself. The only caveat is that it has a 70 lb. weight limit, so don't kneel on it when you are tucking in, and our 5 year old boy can't play with his little brother on it. No great loss. Definitely recommend it.
